The UAL-Anecoop Experimental Farm Foundation has awarded the VI Award for the Best Master's Thesis “José María Planells”.” to the researcher Bernardo Alfonso Galiano, in recognition of the excellence and innovation of his master's thesis.
The winning entry, entitled “Development and evaluation of a crop-adapted intelligent spray system for phytosanitary applications in greenhouses.”, The new technology is an advanced technological solution to improve the precision and efficiency of phytosanitary applications under protected crop conditions.

The project stands out for its integration of tools, systems and techniques of precision agriculture, allowing you to adjust the spraying automatically according to the characteristics of the crop. This technology seeks to reduce the use of products phytosanitary products, optimize the resources, increase the security of the producer and minimize the impact environmental.
From the UAL-Anecoop Foundation have stressed that the work represents “a significant advance in the application of intelligent technologies in intensive agriculture”, and have congratulated the winner for his contribution to improving sustainability and innovation in the agricultural sector.
With this recognition, Bernardo Alfonso Galiano joins the group of young researchers distinguished for their commitment to the technological transformation of the greenhouse agricultural system.
