Visits to the farm

Last Saturday, March 2nd, we were visited by professors from the following universities: University of Almeria University of Loyola (Granada) University of Castilla La Mancha University of Malaga Polytechnic University of Cartagena The reason for the visit was to see the operation and trials carried out in the greenhouses of the Experimental Farm.

Last Friday, January 12, we were visited by the students of the Master in Mediterranean Horticulture under Greenhouse of the University of Almeria, who showed their interest in seeing the trials of the Experimental Farm. Those responsible for the visit have been the professors of the University of Almeria Fernando José Diánez Martínez and Patricia María [...]

Last Thursday, January 11, we were visited by students from the Universidad Autónoma de Chapingo (Mexico). The purpose of the visit was to see the operation and the tests carried out in the greenhouses of the Experimental Farm. Miguel Urrestarazu Gavilán, professor at the University of Almeria, was responsible for the visit.

Last Tuesday, December 19, we were visited by the students of the course of Technical Innovations in Intensive Agriculture of the Miguel Garcia Foundation. The course aims to train farmers and technicians in the techniques of biological control of pests and diseases in crops of the Mediterranean area, especially focused on pests and diseases of the [...]

Last Friday, December 1st, we were visited by the heads of the commercial and quality group of the Anecoop office in Almeria (https://anecoop.com/). The purpose of the visit was to see the operation and the tests carried out in the greenhouses of the Experimental Farm.

Last Monday, November 27, we were visited by the heads of the NGO RVR (Réalisez Vos Rêves), showing their interest in Almeria's agriculture.  

Last Thursday, November 30, we were visited by students from the University of Évora, Portugal. The purpose of the visit was to see the operation and the tests carried out in the greenhouses of the Experimental Farm. Those responsible for the visit were Diego Luis Valera Martínez, professor of the Engineering Department of the University of Almería and María Ángeles Moreno Teruel, postdoctoral researcher of the University of Almería.

Last Friday, November 10, we were visited by students of the Double Master's Degree in Innovation and Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. The purpose of the visit was to see the operation and tests carried out in the greenhouses of the Experimental Farm.
