A group of students from the last year of Agronomy of the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo (Mexico) today visited the Experimental Farm UAL-ANECOOPThe objective was to get a first-hand look at its facilities and the various research and innovation projects that are being developed there.
During the day, the students were received by researchers and technicians of the University of Almeria and the ANECOOP FoundationThe main lines of work in this area were presented to them. agricultural sustainability, varietal improvement, greenhouse fruit and vegetable production and resource efficiency.
The visit allowed the future agricultural engineers to discover how collaboration between the university and the business sector boosts the transfer of knowledge and the innovation applied to the agri-food sector. They were also able to tour the different experimental modules of the farm and learn about real examples of ongoing research.
This activity is part of the company's commitment to the Experimental Farm UAL-ANECOOP for promoting the international academic exchange and bring young professionals closer to the scientific and technological fabric that characterizes Almeria's agriculture.
