CONSOLACIÓN GIL MONTOYA

Consolación Gil Montoya received her PhD in Computer Science in 1996 from the University of Granada. She has been a professor and researcher at two different universities: at the University of Murcia from 1991 to 1997 and at the University of Almeria from 1997 to the present, which makes a total of more than 30 years of professional university career.

Specifically, at the University of Murcia she was the only woman in the area of Computer Architecture and Technology and she was in charge of starting up the subjects of this area in the second cycle of Computer Engineering in the biennium 1991-1993.

Since 2012 she is Professor of Computer Architecture and Technology at the Computer Science Department of the University of Almeria.
