On June 2, 2025, we received at the UAL-Anecoop Experimental Farm Foundation the visit of representatives of the following companies ANECOOP and of the company PREWORLDThe event was held as part of a technical workshop to learn first-hand about the varietal improvement and agronomic performance trials in watermelon that are carried out in our facilities.

During the visit, attendees were able to tour the experimental plots and analyze the different materials under evaluation, focusing on key aspects such as yield, adaptation to different growing conditions, disease resistance and organoleptic quality of the fruit.

This type of technical meetings are essential to transfer applied research to the productive sector, and consolidate the collaboration between agricultural innovation centers and companies committed to the development of more efficient, sustainable and competitive varieties.
