The UAL-Anecoop Experimental Farm Foundation received last Tuesday, November 12, the visit of a delegation from the UAL-Anecoop Japan Greenhouse Horticulture Association, a leading Japanese organization in the field of greenhouse horticulture.

The purpose of the visit was to gain first-hand knowledge about the advanced agricultural technology which is being developed and tested at the farm, considered a benchmark in innovation applied to greenhouse cultivation.
During the tour of the facilities, the representatives of the Japanese association were able to observe demonstrations of crop monitoring, automated tillage and solutions for precision agriculture. The foundation's specialists explained how these systems work and their impact on the efficiency, sustainability and technification of the fruit and vegetable sector.
The day concluded with an exchange of views in which both entities reflected on the challenges of agricultural automation and the decisive role that robots will play in the greenhouses of the future.
