The UAL-ANECOOP Experimental Farm Foundation has received today the visit of an international delegation composed of representatives of the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Stanley Agriculture Group Co., Genliduo Bio-Tech Corporation Ltd, Jingmen FarmX Technology Co. Ltd and the Portuguese Society of Innovation.
During the day, the businessmen and technicians were able to see first-hand the facilities of the Experimental Farm, as well as the various research, development and innovation projects that are being carried out.
The visit focused especially on advances in fertigation, one of the Foundation's strategic lines, where topics such as the optimization of water and nutrient use, efficiency in the management of horticultural crops and the application of advanced technologies for a more sustainable agriculture were addressed.
This initiative strengthens the ties of collaboration between the Foundation and international organizations dedicated to agricultural research, consolidating the UAL-ANECOOP Experimental Farm as a reference in agri-food innovation at a global level.
The visit was also part of the project ECONUTRIan initiative that promotes the scientific and technological cooperation between Europe and ChinaThe company is committed to the development of innovative solutions aimed at sustainability, resource efficiency and advanced plant nutrition, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the joint development of innovative solutions.
